"It was the best of times, it was the worst of times.........."

 And so it was for Mary these last few days. Legs swollen the size of old oak trees, then,.... back to normal.................

 Hips hurt like hell, then, back to normal.....................................

then back to wracking pain.................................

then back to normal....................................

 All due to her inability to find enough energy to move around. The stomach tube continues to work well, unlike the first stomach tube. Doctor was impressed enough to allow her to go home on Friday. That is good news for her, believe me.

 She is waiting for me to come in on Friday to bring her home. When I get to the hospital, Dr. will be paged, and he will come into the hospital to get her sprung.

 Then, Friday afternoon, I leave for Boston, as we have for 21 consecutive years........................
